BBR Mazda MX-5
EVO - March '11
It goes like stink in a straight line, this supercharged MX-5. The corners are rather more interesting, partly because of the extra shove the supercharger kit delivers at the back wheels, partly because this is a pre-facelift mk3 and so manages to feel woolly and nervous at the same time. Sheepish, perhaps. It’s a bit more exciting than it needs to be, then, yet strangely compelling, as cars with more power than grip and handling often are.
