Mazda used the range-topping 2.0-litre Sport Tech Nav model as a base for the Anniversary Limited Edition and added a whole host of extra equipment with some eye-catching design tweaks. One of just 750 Limited Edition UK cars.
Exterior is finished in Soul Red metallic paint, offset by black door mirrors, A-pillars and power-folding hard-top, with a rear diffuser. The cabin is trimmed in a light stone leather, with contrasting red stitching on the seats, steering wheel, gearlever and handbrake.
A hand-painted dark red dashboard decoration panel is fitted, as well as the headrests embossed in the 25th Anniversary logo. Built into the new-look dash and specific to the 25th anniversary is a 6.1-inch Alpine touchscreen navigation system, featuring Bluetooth, USB connectivity and a DVD player.
To complement this very special limited edition, the previous owner entrusted BBR to give this MX-5 the performance it deserves. The following BBR enhancements were installed:
- BBR Super 200 conversion (upgraded to later 2016 spec)
- BBR / Koni suspension package
- BBR Stainless Steel Centre Section
- Brand new BBR GT rear silencer
Upgrades were installed by ourselves in October 2014 at just 1,400 miles and the vehicle was later returned for our Super 200 update in 2016.
